Women at Work
This pack, made up of lessons and worksheets, explores the changing roles of women in the WWI era. When men were called up to fight, many jobs previously reserved for men were taken up by women - one of these jobs was bus conductor. Personal accounts and research help children to understand how challenging and exciting this time was for women, and to connect with Remembrance, thanking this group of extraordinary women.
